What is good about the Spanish postmodern worldview?
I’ve been doing a lot of studying and talking, trying to focus my work so I can really communicate with people in Spain. Part of that has involved researching the predominant Spanish worldview - postmodernism. Here are some of my conclusions:

There are some really good things in the Spanish postmodern worldview.

Value relationships of family and friends.
Skeptical of religious systems.
Look to family for role models.
Looks for the reality of a life rather than the arguments of a mind.
Some parts of this worldview prevent people from trusting in Christ.
Values are subjective and unique to the individual; the result of one’s own experience.
Rejection of traditional religion can include rejection of Christ as an alternative.
“Truth” is developed personally.
Any belief that excludes other beliefs is seen as intolerant
Most important is to be true to one’s own principles, whatever they are.
How does one communicate Christ to a postmodern Spaniard?
In the context of relationship.
Demonstrating the reality of a life rather than logical arguments.
Separate Christ from religion - avoid religious references and symbols.
Avoid confrontational dogmatism.
Embrace the subjectivity and mystery of Christ.
Let the Holy Spirit be the convincer.
Show the truth, because talking about it is just noise.
